Platform Rules
These Platform Rules define operational standards for using the DMG website, dashboard, distribution infrastructure, content workflows and related services.
1. Scope
These Platform Rules apply to all users, accounts, teams, content submissions, metadata, payout activity and communications across DMG services.
They operate together with the Terms of Use, Distribution Agreement, Anti-Fraud Policy, Privacy Policy and any additional platform or partner requirements made available by DMG.
2. Account Conduct
- You must provide accurate account, identity, business, rights and payout information.
- You must keep account credentials secure and may not share access in a way that creates security, fraud or operational risk.
- You may not create duplicate, misleading or evasive accounts to bypass review, enforcement, payout holds or platform restrictions.
3. Content Standards
- You may only submit content that you own or are legally authorized to distribute, administer or monetize.
- Metadata, artwork, artist names, credits, identifiers and ownership information must be accurate and not misleading.
- Content may be rejected, delayed, restricted or removed if it creates quality, rights, fraud, legal, reputational or platform compliance concerns.
4. Prohibited Activity
- Artificial streaming, fake engagement, chart manipulation or any attempt to inflate royalties or platform metrics.
- Uploading unauthorized, infringing, deceptive, abusive, hateful, unlawful or otherwise non-compliant content.
- Using third parties, agencies, bots, farms, scripts or technical manipulation to bypass platform rules.
- Interfering with DMG systems, security controls, review processes, reporting, payouts or partner operations.
5. Review and Enforcement
DMG may review uploads, metadata, account behavior, payout activity, rights documentation and related platform conduct at any time.
DMG may reject releases, delay delivery, suspend distribution, restrict access, hold payouts, request documentation, remove content or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary.
6. Partner Requirements
DSPs, stores, social platforms, monetization partners and other third-party services may apply their own rules, policies and technical requirements.
DMG may enforce partner requirements directly through its platform where necessary to protect delivery access, catalog integrity, monetization eligibility and operational reliability.
7. Communications and Support
- Users must communicate with DMG staff and support channels professionally and accurately.
- Abuse, threats, harassment, spam, false statements or attempts to pressure staff into bypassing review may result in restrictions.
- DMG may prioritize, delay or refuse support where requests are incomplete, abusive, fraudulent or outside the applicable service scope.
8. Updates
DMG may update these Platform Rules from time to time to reflect legal, operational, partner, technical or product changes.
Continued use of the platform after updated rules are published may be treated as acceptance of the updated rules to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
